One thing you should know about me is I have resting smile face. I never not have a smile on my face, which can be a good and bad thing depending on the situation.
I have been through my fair share of life traumas - from being sexually abused at the age of 6 to developing an eating disorder in my late teens to losing my mom/best friend in my 30's.
Life has thrown it all at me, and through it all, I had a big bold smile on my face. Not a single person would have known my struggles.
I hit rock bottom after losing my mom 3 years ago, being diagnosed with anxiety, depression, PTSD and ADHD and I found myself in the chair of an amazing therapist. After a HARD soul seeking rebirth, I went back to school to become a Registered Counsellor to start helping people that are struggling just like I was.

I know it’s hard to let go of people-pleasing. I know it feels selfish to prioritize yourself and take care of your needs. I know about the inner critic in your head saying you aren’t good enough.
So, I know it’s hard to believe you are worth prioritizing, your needs are worth speaking up for, and you don’t have to keep the peace and make everyone else happy.

Inner Child Work can be the tool you need to uncover how this protective strategy first started so you can understand how to meet this part in a new way.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) allows you to then, reprogram your mind and repattern your behaviours to embody the unshakable self-worth and confidence you have within you.
Your body holds on to memories and emotions and needs to be released in order to evolve or change shape. Somatics is the method to help you through this process.
You might even start thinking that you need to be fixed and that what you desire isn’t available to you.

On the surface:
I have spent the last 7 years teaching fitness classes but have found that there was always something missing. I craved deeper connections with my clients, but also for my clients to have deeper connections with themselves and with others.
If you pull back the weeds:
my clients have told me that my fitness classes have felt like therapy to them. They would tell me how they were brought to tears and felt deep emotions during a class. But when it’s over, they wipe away their sweat and tears, pack up their bags and head home. I want to dive deeper into that emotion. I want to sit with them after the experience and explore what they are feeling. I want to create a space that everyone feels safe to share and connect with each other. A place you can hear, “Hey I feel that way too” and in that moment you’ll know you are not alone in this world. This is exactly how I feel after each class I teach. I feel less alone in the world, I feel heard, I feel seen and I feel less broken when I make that connection with someone else.
We all need a village to survive, but with our fast paced lives and overloaded schedules, they just don’t exist like they used to. I believe together we can plant a garden and watch it grow.
